37 years of putting the patient first

With 37 years experience as a family physician, Dr. Raymond Ebarb is dedicated to improving the lives of his patients both within and beyond the exam room. A co-founder of Great South Bay Family Medical Practice and an attending physician at hospitals across Long Island, Dr. Ebarb’s mission has always been to advance the advocacy efforts of family physicians, and in doing so, better connect patients with comprehensive care. 

All people deserve access to a “patient-centered medical home,” a place where care is coordinated across a team of specialists, and where patients have an active voice in their own treatment plans. To host such a space, healthcare professionals must be experts not only in their own practice, but also in the arts of communication and collaboration. 

Dr. Ebarb is focused on helping family physicians be heard above the interfering noise from influences outside the exam room. After all, the core of effective healthcare is the strong bond between patients and family physicians.
